How long does it take for a woman to give birth?

If you're a first-time mum, active labour may take about eight hours. This is an average, though, and it could be much shorter or longer than that. It's unlikely to last more than 18 hours. Once your cervix has dilated to 10cm, it could take you an hour or two hours of pushing before your baby is born. :)

True. It may seem surprising that two women can have such different experiences. But labor pain varies dramatically from woman to woman, Thanks for sharing. There are pregnant mothers here who will be able to read this post and I know they are curious with the stages of labor.

It doesn't matter how long or hard the pain is. Just keep reminding by ourselves of the outcome. A beautiful baby!!. :) They say the pain will forget quickly after the birth and it's probably because "they are so worth it".

Definitely, the joy that the baby brings cannot outweigh the pain.
